What happens...

What happens when my WarriorMail password is changed?

Microsoft Outlook:

If Outlook is open, Outlook not receive any new messages.
Exit Outlook and open Outlook again.
When opening Outlook, Outlook will detect the password change and prompt for the new password.

Blackberry using Google Apps Sync:

The Blackberry will see that the password has been changed and will prompt for the new password. The service may not detect the password change right away.

Android using Google Apps Sync:

Note, not all Android devices have been tested.

The Motorola Droid will see that the password has been changed and will prompt for the new password. The service may not detect the password change right away.

Import data using Google Apps Sync

Download Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Office to import your email, personal contacts, and calendar events from your old Google Apps Account.

Migrate data use Google Apps Migration Tool.

You can use Google Apps Migration for Microsoft Outlook® to import data from a Google Apps account or PST file, by stepping through a simple migration wizard. You can import your mail, personal contacts, and calendar events, either all at once, or one application at a time.

Best Practices

When importing data with Google Apps Migration for Microsoft Outlook®...

	If you're importing a lot of data and don't want to tie up your computer, pause the migration while you're working and resume when you step away from your desk (such as when you go to lunch). After resuming, the migration continues where it last left off.
	Avoid re-importing contact data that you've already migrated, or you'll end up with duplicate contacts. If you need to run another migration and have already imported your contacts, either uncheck Contacts in the migration wizard, or choose the option to Migrate only new data.
	Avoid re-importing calendar data if you've changed any events in Google Calendar since you last migrated. Importing calendar data overwrites existing events in Google Calendar so you'd lose your recent changes.
	If you need to re-import contact and calendar data, such as after performing a test migration, delete the data your originally migrated, first. Then run a new migration.
	Don't run two migrations at once, for example, to import data for more than one Google Apps account. If you're performing migrations for multiple users, import only one account at a time.
